Hey, I am a 17-year-old high school student. I strum my ukulele & guitar and play the drums to create music, use podcasts to voice my interests and opinions, love to play soccer, blog about the latest buzz in technology and code to create cool apps and games.
About Me
While excelling in academics is something I continue to strive for, I have a deep passion and interest in the fields of technology, music and sports. In my free time, I love to play football and cricket with my friends, binge watch TV shows like any other person my age and try my hands on some easy cooking recipes
MUSIC
The first time I picked up a guitar was at the age of 7. I learnt basic strumming patterns from YouTube tutorials. I often played random notes and was intrigued to hear the beats that my guitar would make. At this point, the music sounded like magic to my ears. Seeing my dedication and interest, my parents enrolled me in a formal music school where I learnt everything in a very structured manner. I participated in a few musical events and also was a part of the Band-It festival in 2019 and 2021.
My instrument became my closest friend and ever since then, I’ve continued to improvise and aim higher and higher as my practice still continues. Playing the guitar gives me a sense of calmness and rejuvenates me after a busy day.
I am a certified Grade 5 Trinity College of London Guitarist. I regularly post my music videos on my Instagram channel.
SPORTS
Being a sports enthusiast imbibes a lot of good qualities in me. It teaches me how to always be committed, dedicated, patient and determined to put in my best efforts in everything. My favourite sportsperson is Lionel Messi. He inspires me to be a good athlete. My love for sports has motivated me to take active part in all sporting events. I have won medals in inter-house, interschool badminton, football tournaments and athletic competitions like high jump, relay, running and discus throw. I am a founding member of a sports podcast 'The Locker Room' where we engage in debates, discussions, match reviews, interviews and much more.
